Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

At Aara Atelier, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

Return Eligibility

If you wish to request a return, exchange, store credit, or refund, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible, items must:

  • Be unworn, unused, and unwashed

  • Be in their original condition

  • Have all tags attached

  • Be returned in their original packaging where possible

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges for eligible products.

  • Customers must request an exchange within 7 days of delivery

  • Exchange approval is subject to product availability

  • If the requested replacement item is unavailable, Aara Atelier may offer store credit or an alternative solution

Store Credit

Where appropriate, Aara Atelier may offer store credit instead of a refund.

Store credit:

  • Is valid for 12 months from the date of issue

  • Can be used across our website

  • Is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash

Refunds

We aim to resolve most requests through exchanges or store credit.

Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be approved at Aara Atelier's discretion, subject to applicable consumer rights.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item received was faulty, damaged, or incorrect

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless faulty or not as described:

  • Sale items

  • Discounted items

  • Promotional purchases

  • Clearance items

  • Market event purchases

  • Raffle prizes

  • Giveaway items

  • Gift cards

  • Special order items

  • Customised products

  • Personalised products

All sale, discounted, promotional, clearance, market-event, raffle, giveaway, and special-offer purchases are considered final sale.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs showing the problem

Where appropriate, we may offer:

  • A replacement

  • An exchange

  • Store credit

  • A full refund

Product Variations

Many of our products are sourced in limited quantities and may feature artisan craftsmanship.

Slight variations in the following are natural characteristics of the product and are not considered faults or defects:

  • Colour

  • Print placement

  • Embroidery

  • Stitching

  • Texture

  • Finish

Colour Disclaimer

We make every effort to display product colours accurately.

However, actual colours may vary slightly due to:

  • Device screens

  • Monitor settings

  • Photography lighting

  • Natural fabric characteristics

Such variations do not constitute a fault.

Size & Fit

Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and sizing information before placing an order.

Aara Atelier cannot guarantee fit preferences, body shape suitability, or individual sizing expectations.

Return Shipping

Unless an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning items.

Refused or Undelivered Orders

If an order is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address information

  • Refusal of delivery

  • Failure to collect the parcel

Aara Atelier reserves the right to deduct any shipping or handling costs incurred before issuing any approved refund or store credit.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before processing begins.

Once sourcing, packing, or dispatch preparation has started, cancellation requests may not be accepted.
